Dear SDADA Members,

Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your 2025 SDADA chairman — it has been both an honor and a privilege. I want to assure you that the SDADA team and board of directors are working diligently on your behalf, with a clear focus on strengthening the future for all South Dakota dealers. We are here to listen to your concerns, represent your interests and be your voice.

The automotive industry is constantly evolving, and as we head toward a new year and legislative session, we know challenges will arise. However, thanks to the relationships SDADA has built with lawmakers who understand and support our business, I’m confident we are well-positioned to address whatever comes our way.

With that said, there may be times when we’ll ask you to reach out directly to your legislators. Your engagement truly matters. Having served on the board since 2022, I’ve seen firsthand how active member participation can make a real difference.

One of the most impactful ways you can help is by contributing to the SDADA PAC. This fund allows us to support legislators who value and protect the role our dealerships play in South Dakota’s economy and communities. Your contributions help ensure we have strong allies in positions that matter.

I also encourage you to take part in SDADA events throughout the year. These gatherings provide opportunities to network, exchange ideas, learn from one another and strengthen our dealer community.
